General Technologies Limited is the official distributor for Hitachi Digital Media Products and Super//Fluo (Seleco & Imperial Brand Televisions) in Malta.

General Technologies' ranks have been growing steadily since its inception in November 1997. The company has only moved forward by introducing the best quality products to its line-up, starting with Information Technology, moving to Telecommunications, and then to Video and Audio products.

In the first years General Technologies has been sourcing locally and from abroad branded computer systems and parts mainly for the commercial sector and providing clients with the necessary support, backup and after sales service.

During 2001 it was decided that a process of diversification is necessary to complement company growth. It was a time when popularity of satellite TV was increasing at a steady rate in Malta. This move, followed shortly by the distribution of other related consumer goods and accessories deposited our company in the consumer market very quickly, acquiring an extremely strong position in a relatively short period. In 2003 our company's ambitions have been rewarded by establishing a long term mutual business relationship with Hitachi Europe which solidified our company as an influential contender in the market. The popularity and high regard towards high-end consumer products distributed by General Technologies Limited in our market is the result of a structure combining high quality products, effective backup, reliable after sales service and professional technical expertise.
